Eve Egoyan

Eve Egoyan

Eve Egoyan is a concert pianist who specializes in the performance of new works. Her intense focus, command of the instrument, insightful interpretations, and unique programmes welcome audiences into unknown territory.  Composers have a uniformly high regard for her performances of their works, often considering them definitive.

Eve has performed many world and North American premières. She has appeared as a solo recitalist in Canada, England, France, Germany, Japan, and the United States. Collaborations have included improvisation, dance projects, interdisciplinary performance, film work and sound installations.

Eve’s creative partnership with Maria de Alvear began in 1996 with a performance of the diptych De puro amor and En amor duro. This was their first meeting and the beginning of a creative partnership that has transformed Eve’s approach to interpretation. In the spring of 2007 she performed the world première of Maria’s Clear Energy for piano, orchestra and video projection.

Asking is Eve’s sixth solo CD. For more information about Eve visit www.eveegoyan.com.
