Gianpiero Ruggeri

Baritone Gianpiero Ruggeri’s repertoire includes all the main roles in Mozart, Rossini and belcanto operas, as well as contemporary composers. He studied with Sesto Bruscantini, making his  debut as Belcore in Donizetti`s Elisir d’amore. Recognized for his outstanding acting ability, he  was invited by Gustav Kuhn to take part of the production of Strauss’s Capriccio at the Teatro Regio in Parma. He has worked with conductors such as  P. Domingo, G. Gelmetti, G. Kuhn, A. Zedda, G. Ferro, D. Renzetti, G. Noseda, E. Muller, T. Netopil and directors such as D. Abbado, D. Krief, D. Fo, M. Martone, Irina Brook, F. Crivelli, M. Placido, M. Corradi, G. Proietti and F. Zeffirelli.
