Marco Cappelli Acoustic Trio

The Marco Cappelli Acoustic Trio, formed by three of the most active improvisers in the New York avantgarde music scene, have been performing together since the Summer ’09. The music that Marco Cappelli first composed, recorded on their debut CD “Les Nuages en France”, is music with a kind of “French noir touch”, inspired by the characters of Fred Vargas’ famous mysteries. In the suite “Les Nuages en France”, those familiar with Vargas’ characters will find it easy to recognize the personalities of Adamsberg, Danglard, Retancourt …, and the more “human heroes” of the cycle.
