Peter VealePeter Veale was born in Dunedin, New Zealand. He has been Resident in Germany since 1980 and studied oboe with Prof. Heinz Holliger at the Musikhochschule in Freiburg (Germany) and conducting with Francis Travis (Freiburg). He was awarded an international scholarship from 1992-93 to be a performing artist in residence at the Akademie Schloss Solitude in Stuttgart.
