Elizabeth BrownComposer/performer Elizabeth Brown holds a flute performance degree from Juilliard; she started composing in the late 1970s. She began studying shakuhachi with Ralph Samuelson in the mid-80's, and has written a series of pieces combining Japanese and western instruments.
